AK Builders & Developers had the privilege of delivering a complete transformation for The Hempire Cannabis retail location in downtown St. Catharines. The project began with custom architectural drawings tailored to local compliance requirements and the brand’s modern retail vision.

Our team managed an end-to-end renovation, addressing both structural and aesthetic upgrades to convert the space into a high-functioning cannabis storefront. From reworking layouts and updating utilities to modernizing surfaces and finishes, the renovation was executed with precision and attention to detail.

The final stage focused on interior design and build-out, where we brought The Hempire’s brand to life through custom millwork, ambient lighting, sleek display areas, and customer-focused flow. The result is a polished, inviting environment that balances compliance, function, and design — elevating the retail experience for both the client and their customers.
